Sleeping with my sweetheart in her new flat for the first time was lovely. Her allowing me to play my new King Crimson CD (The Night Watch: Live in Amsterdam, 1973) was fantastic. The fact that she liked it: absolutely priceless. The '72-'74 lineup of KC were alternatively heartbreakingly gentle and scarily, gothicly loud; no wonder I like them, and no wonder they appeal to people who like to hang out with me. :)

I can still not believe that some of that stuff was improvised.

Incredible, isn't it? Here's (http://www.disciplineglobalmobile.com/bio/kc73.shtml) more exciting info on that era of the band.
