You have inspired me to round up all my overdue books ;) I shudder to think what my library fines are up to (less than $100, definitely - there is a maximum fine per book). I keep trying to remember to take books back on time, but it only lasts about a month.

I don't think I've accumulated $1000 in fines over my entire life. Possibly $500, but even that's pushing it.
