Oh, my subconscious, pt 2

vostoklakeFurther to this: last night I dreamed my mother was married to Leonard Cohen. :-$
I count this dream sequence as positive. Generally my mother - and other members of my family - appear in my dreams as figures of shaming and punishment. But that's two in a row where my mother has been associated very strongly with musicians who symbolise all that is beautiful in my own private universe - and quite frankly Laughing Lenny would be a billion times better a stepfather than anyone who my real mother actually hooked up with, so that's probably a Jungian "wise old man" archetype coming in there. My interior world seems to be transforming into one where my "superego" / Parent ego state is gradually forming an alliance with my inner creative self, rather than trying to smash it.
