4,000 words and counting
Aug. 15th, 2003 11:06 amTo celebrate, I'm off to lunch.
I'm going to have to write a lot more than this, but I'm feeling like I'm on something of a roll here. The main thing that's daunting me is that I happened to rummage through my desk and came across the notes and proposals I wrote when I was just starting this thesis. And *damn* do they bear no relation to what I want to write now. I was pretty much regurgitating the Women's Studies bullshit which was the fashion at the time. I do hope that my early chapters don't need a *total* rewriting!
Of course, I shouldn't be surprised that the thesis is so little like it was in 1999 - so is its author.

And I really wanted to get to uni in time to see you today, but arrived just a few minutes after 12. And I was like, "Augghh! If I hadn't missed that cable car, I might have got here 10 mintues earlier and seen her!" But now I know you would have been off lunching anyway, so I feel better.
