Shurely shome mishtake?

A 2-1 victory to our understrength and inexperienced team, which I put down entirely to the other team not appearing to actually like one another. I got Player of the Day (prize: one free low-alcohol beer) today. They got me to play in goal, which was dead easy because our backline are a hard-core group of bad-asses, and I think I only had to hustle for the ball twice, but apparently I'm good at it. Damn. I wanted to be up the front scoring the goals, but we have to go where our talents are recognized. Apparently my main talent is an adrenaline-filled determination to get the ball off the other team by any borderline-illegal means necessary, which is the primary qualification of a goalie.

So after all that, the question is am I awake enough to play a gig tonight?
