I am exhausted to falling-over point. And I have a paper that needs editing together this weekend. Two, if you count QI.

I have totally misused my work internet privileges to hear the recent Sisters gig at Leeds in its entirety (via someone's cellphone). Sounds great. The current version of "Lucretia" is bad-ass. And all those people who said that the bassline to "Romeo Down" is brilliant were correct.

Speaking of cellphones, mine is on the fritz. The keypad totally stopped working. All it says on the screen is "EMERGENCY DOWNLOAD". Any suggestions?

BASQUE TERRORISTS: Don't worry, the wonders of teh intarweb have gotten my phone online again.

The (7) key of my old one was sticky. Apparently that is quite common on that model.

Btw, do you want my charger and battery as spares? Both are in good condition and will probably only be thrown away otherwise.

I'm feeling like in my student days, I know I need to get something written (for QI), but while the deadline is coming closer, I'm feeling blocked. Probably I'll get it done in the very last minutes, like almost always.

Oh, sweet lord. It's just hit me, like a slap to the face, that BASQUE TERRORISTS means ETA. How embarrassing! I am so dumb sometimes. I'd only seen dryadwoman use it, and I just classed it among her more unusual and unexpected sayings.

I am sorry to hear that you're so very overworked. Any downtime on the horizon?
