Remember how my erstwhile supervisor had given me a chapter from her new book to check the references on? Well, it's a book on 19th century NZ novels - the same area in which I did my thesis. And one of the footnotes mentions "a lot of interesting postgraduate research in this area to which the authors are indebted"... and namechecks my thesis in particular.

So, I'm going to be cited in an actual book. Go me!
