An open question to friends and fans

I want to get 150 people into the Small Group Psychosis release party, early to mid next year. I have a venue planned. What else do I have to do to make this happen - with specific regard to publicity, support acts, etc?

Assume that I have absolutely zero knowledge of "the scene" and that I'm pathologically shy. Because if I can't get an audience there's not much point.
