The karma truck backs up again

Proofreading mystery shopper reports. 20% pay rise on what I get now; working just up the road from home; 6 month contract only, but I'll probably be ready to run for something better by then. Work marginally less stupid and pointless than what I do now, and far less making repetitive phone calls to people who aren't pleased to hear from me.
Coincidentally, I'm going to be talking to the CEO in an hour. I get to tell him to cram it wherever his species* traditionally crams things. To quote Jamshed Nahasapeemapetalon: "Oh, how I have waited for this day."
(* "Species" being "white South African" here. I know it's wrong to generalise based on nationality, but I really want to know whether he moved here to get away from apartheid, or to get away from the end of apartheid...)
In other news: memo to Australians: OMGZ Ross Taylor PWN3Z0RS J00.
ETA: Hah! The CEO offered me a 14% pay rise to stay on account of I'm so "intelligent and experienced etc". I had to say "well, not if it's going to be the same crappy job which I've hated ever since I've started..." I have never actually been the subject of a bidding war before. Good for the old ego.
