We make progress!

- My immediate supervisor and I have now officially bonded on the theme that her immediate supervisor is an incompetent loony. And that she is happy to have someone "intelligent" with a "warped sense of humour" to keep her sane. A few more months of this and I may get enough influence to have that annoying guy who sits next to me moved to the other end of the building.

- My French teacher says that I could easily get DALF C1 on current form, and perhaps even C2. I always enjoy a challenge.

Otter on the run in Devonport!

Anyone remember when Clive at the Wellington Zoo tried this? He ended up in some student's laundry, begging for fish. They eventually had to deport him to a "maximum security" zoo in backwoods Australia. I hope Jin is going to be okay.
