1) Now you rugbyheads understand how we cricket fans feel every year.
2) Parents are saying that their children are inconsolable? Maybe we should look again at our culture which encourages this almost-compulsory vicarious identification with one single corporate brand, sorry, sports team so thoroughly. At least English soccer hooligans or AFL nuts (hi, Cal!) have a variety of teams to support.
3) At least this provides helpful advice for me on what to do if RAM gets wiped out this Saturday. I suppose the equivalent of "get behind South Africa" would be "get behind City Vision", but that will take some gritting of teeth.
